After following the realistic route with my life and earning a Bachelors of Science with a major in Personnel Management, I finally realized what the "BS" stood for.

 

Performing in several community theatre productions in my hometown in Arkansas sparked the acting bug. So I "loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly"...by way of Dallas, Texas. That's where I received my second degree - an Associates in Applied Arts at the Actors Conservatory of the Southwest. 

 

After performing in several plays and musicals, teaching musical comedy, and touring with an Improv Trio for six years, I continued on my journey to Hollywood. These were the people mommy warned me about! I tried to fit in but my Southern Charm seemed to be a "four letter word." 

 

Pursuing acting while holding a day job proved to be very difficult. So now, I am acting full time and focusing on my craft. I'm proud to report that I recently landed my first Regional Commercial because of my accent, not in spite of it. Perhaps I am on the right path after all.
